Hey guys, pretty interesting fight just got made. Jorge Arce vs. Vic Darchinyan. Two charistmatic fighters who love to fight and have power to end a fight in KO at any second. I'm thinking of going and getting best ringside tickets available. Looks like it's $250. I live in Everett, Wa and it looks like it will be 22 hour drive for me.. Farthest I went for a fight was Portland to see Mayweather.. now this is a whole different thing. Should I be flying or cheaper to ride a car?? Anybody in Anaheim knows how far airport is from the arena?? or will be going to?? Andrey
It's nearby to me. Tim Kudgis says he wants to go too... ...anyway if you are flyin' into John Wayne OCAirport, it's probably less than 15 minutes from the airport... From LAX it's like 40 minutes with no traffic, we have f*cked up traffic though... I'd be disappointed if I spent money and Vic won though.
The atmosphere is going to be awesome...So far two mexicans on the card and Vic and Vanes will get the Armenians out in force.. Id go if I could drive but it would take me about a week parked on a boat to get there.
LAX is about 30 miles from Anaslime, Ca.... John Wayne airport is the hot ticket, but its normally a bit more pricey, too..... John Wayne is right there in Oranage County....... Another choice would be Ontario airport up in San Bernardino / Riverside..... LAX to Anaslime can be hectic in rush hour traffic.... I'd fly in early or late at night.... Screw the noon time.....:hey MR.BILL Note: Screw driving..... Just get a plane ticket and score a Motel 6 near Disneyland; rent a cheap ass car.... Do the gig right.....
All right!!! I got a plane ticket for $200 from Seattle straight to Santa Ana... from there I might have to get a taxi cause I'm not allowed to rent a car... looks like you have to be 21. Im 20. And I'm flying right back to Seattle Sunday morning. BEAUTIFUL!!! Here I go!! Andrey
I think it will be an interesting atmosphere as these two are gonna go straight at it until one of them ends up on their face and most everyone will be expecting it. For that reason I predict a largely drunk and loud crowd with a few fistfights in the stands here and there for good measure (prob between a few totally inebriated mexicans and armenians). I personally do not like drunk and rowdy crowds but if you are into that sort of thing, by all means go enjoy!
John Wayne airport is on the Irvine / Newport Beach borders.... Santa Ana is nearby minus an airport.... Anaslime is just up the road across the County..... Flying into John Wayne is the hot ticket..... MR.BILL EXTRA: Where is "Arce-Darchinyan" fighting at---The Pond?? I saw Aerosmith there back in '97....
:yep vic is becoming a master at art of trash talking. recently both fighters were expected to weight in & be at a certain limit 1 month before the fight.. vic was right on point but arce failed to make it. of course darchinyan called arce "unprofessional" while at the same time stroking himself, lol. "he should try switching to sugar-free lolli pops then maybe he could lose some weight..." - darchinyan
If I still lived in L.A. I would pick u up. the_what lives in Irvine, hit him up. Taxis are expensive in SoCal.
