Dillian put in a brilliant performance, from the first bell he looked great and fit, good combos, good jab (well Browne was basically stationary) + that KO will defo be hitting top 5 KOs of the year. Hats off to Whyte, love him as a fighter and as a person, tells it like it is no bs.
I've always been on the Wolf Squad....feels he's been underestimated. Remember he's still learning he's an ex kickboxer, transition ain't easy.
Was a clever match up by Hearn really. A respectable name that has been inactive and likely over the hill. Reminds me of when Bruno easily knocked out a faded Gerry Coetzee in 1986. Whyte has a lot to do to win a belt tho - just like that Bruno.
Whyte was always winning this fight and 15/8 for the stoppage was great value considering his opponents age and condition plus the fact Whyte is a Matchroom HW contender in need of a profile-boosting KO win. I find Dillian to be a genuine dude in addition to being a bad mofo so always root for him and am glad he got it done in style. I wonder if Whyte will grant Chisora a rematch in his first defence of the green belt he'll take off Deontay?
