Who says Delahoya is an ATG lightweight? He is an ATG overall but not at lightweight.
Between I do not like to refer to an ATG with regard to a specific weight class.Either you are an ATG , belonging to the Top 100, or not.

Hernandez challenged Neslon for the WBC title, which was held by the later one.
Pasqual was never WBO nor WBC champion in Super-Middleweight, not even any other other kind of champion in that divison! He was only WBC title-holder for 1 - 2 years at Light-Heavyweight.

By the way I know you first mixed up Pasqual with either Kessler or Hatton and now with Pavlik or Taylor (which were also no champions at Super-Middleweight, but just Middleweight).

DH is a sure HOF and arguably an ATG. Because of his achievements overall.
The standard is not to compar Grigorian with DH who himself was not a great lightweight.

I think the Lightweight had recently a stronger competition than Light-Heavyweight (for the past decade) and possible even historical.

The only decent challengers of Pongsalklek Wonjongkam were Daisuke Naito (several times) and Hussein Hussein (who was never top 5), but he's still regarded as one of the best flyweights ever.

I disagree that Grigorian is a Top 10 lightweight.And of course taking DH as a standard, whom somebody ranked 19th.Whether you agree or disagree with that ranking is not even relevant.

Grigorians reign was a lot more impressive, particular longer than de la Hoyas, who mainly picked up opponents from lighter divisions, which are physical not competitive (weaker) and often past their best.

It is obvious this topic was made for bashing Grigorian, but the creater of it has very little knowledge, if anything, about him.

It is hard to understand what you are writing.How is it relevant to compare Grigorian'reign to DH's when DH himself was not even a TOP ten lightweight.DH is not the standard.

My original assertion was just, that Grigorian is likely (or possible) the most underrated boxer at Lightweight (or at least world champion in it). My statement was not, that everybody must have him into the top 10; although I have him at place 6, there I have John at Featherweight, Michalczewski at Light-Heavyweight and Jones at Middleweight too.

He had a quite similar reign as Joe Calzaghe, Pongsalklek Wonjongkam, Dariusz Michalczewski and Wladimir Klitschko, especially in numbers of title-defences.
