During the break before the wright-williams fight he was interviewed by lampley... What's up with the black eyes? :think Lara might got the best of him in the gym... maybe he is indeed having a difficult time against southpaws.
Most probably it's Lara or Cornelius Lock... Mitchell, Pendarvis, and Quintero are smaller, young and less experienced boxers... It's certain Hatton having difficulties dealing with southpaws... Did you see the trend here? Hoya got a blackeye in sparring and got blasted inside 8 rounds... Hatton got blackeyeS in sparring and will be blasted inside __???___ rounds ... .
atsch A strong gust of wind marks up hattons face, **** you people read into everything to much :rofl:rofl:rofl
Hatton's sparring is as intense as that of any fighter - he often spars with much bigger fighters as well. During his camp here he will have sparred with Jamie Moore quite a lot, the EBU 154lb champ who lives nearby - a very heavy handed fighter with wins over Lujan, Macklin and Piccirillo. He marks up ridiculously easy, having seen him in person about a month back it isn't hard to see why..... the guy is so white it is untrue.
Out of Hatton's present 5 southpaw sparring partners (Lara, Cornelius Lock, Mitchell, Pendarvis, and Quintero), it's only Lara that is bigger than Hatton... Southpaws really troubles Hatton, it's a fact... .
It took you until 2009 to discover that Hatton isn't as comfortable against southpaws? I found that out against Eamon Magee, a heavy handed, iron chinned opponent. Decked him in the 1st, hurt him BADLY in the 2nd.... before being schooled - then he was nearly taken out against Collazo. A smarter strategy from Hatton will help..... he got really reckless post-Tszyu but seems to have learned his lesson.
