I know... i was just saying what having black eyes means coz you said it doesn't mean anything. I'm sure ricky will adjust and find ways to avoid those punches as he continues his regular sparring sessions.

Hatton made good points in the interview. Nothing shocking or new, but he seems rock-solid convinced that he's got overwhelming advantages. The tale of the tape, itself, doesn't show that big a difference, but believable confidence is always a plus!

The mouses under his eyes didn't look like they're begging to become cheekbone cuts, but showing that left hands might be landing at will won't exactly send his betting odds soaring. As for the Hoya comparison, Hoya was puffy as hell after taking a couple shots from Steve Forbes! Steve friggin' Forbes! That's when I gave up on Oscar as a fighter, but I'll admit to thinking that nothing good could come out of his Pac bout and was very worried Pac would get hurt enough to affect his career. Hatton didn't look like a post-Forbes ODLH last night, so I believe there's still an exciting competitive fight there!

Even if Hatton had big swollen eyes, I wouldn't be worried.

    He bruises very, very easily.

Filipinos dont really hate Ricky. They like his fighting spirit and his passion. And his ability to inspire British boxing fans to rally behind him, win or lose.

I rooted for him when he fought Floyd. Many Filipinos did.

But we're about to get into a "war" in a few weeks, so we have to stop rooting for hatton.
