I was at the borders the other day and was browsing the mags. Ring magazine was there and some others. However, their mail subscription prices were really high (~$35/year). Anyone here subscribe to a cheap paper boxing magazine that you get delivered at home? Online is ok, but I'm old school enough that I appreciate getting a paper magazine and enjoying anywhere in the house. thanks.
Ring Magazine is about $ 20 a year if ordered through an online secondary magazine subscription company..
care to recommend any? I have seen a few sites advertise Ring for a good price, but upon doing research find out that the sites are bogus.
This is legit, also go to google and type in magazinedealsnow and coupon and the results will save you more money too. http://www.magazinedealsnow.com/title.asp?title=THE+RING I get the Ring plus other mags from them too, the only negative is that it takes a while for you to receive the first issue, usually about 6 to 8 weeks. Also dotcommags.com is even cheaper but they seem to be under construction right now.
I CANT STAND Doug Fischer. He's the reason I always hated Valero. His hating on certain fighters is extreme, and then his nuthuggin is unreal. He constantly beats the same old drug about Floyd not fighting any real challenges, but Valero in his eyes was a legit threat for Pac after beating a bunch of bums in Japan and a 39 year old Pitalua. And its funny how quickly he "disowned" his "son" in this weeks mailbag. Can't stand the guy.
It's a British paper and they will send to the US. Costs about £90 per year for 52 issues. Suggest you try and get hold of a copy first to see if you like it.
