Anybody think Collazo can beat Berto?

My gut reaction is no. Too much speed and power.

But he has experience to use against his young hungry opponent.

 

Depends on how the long layoff effected him. He did knock out some overmatched opponent in his last outing but it's been awhile since he beat a quality opponent so we'll see. If he's still able to perform at a top level, then he has more than a good chance to beat Berto but I wouldn't bet my $ on it. This isn't a good fight to bet on that's for sure.

He has the ability if he fights a great fight.

this is a real test for berto big time, he has to rise to the occasion and prove he is one of the top welters, collazo will take this if berto in no 100% prepared for him,

collazo has the ability to stop him late aswel because his counter punching skill is very good, berto has not been in the ring with anyone with the ability and ring savy of collazo

 

I think Collazo could and may well beat Berto but I think he will not do enough to knock off that name fighter..much like with Hatton.

I think Berto will work to much to really "lose" this one...Luis will really have to be the clear winner to get the verdict IMO, I think at least Berto is good enough to prevent this happening. Wont be that suprised if Dre wins convincingly and fairly to be honest but I keep picturing Collazo pushing this one to the wire.

This won't be no holyfield-valuev. Berto can box some. Plus, his power is good. I'll go with the younger guy in this one.

 

No Collazo is inactive, is not very agresive and do not have the power to make Berto respect him, yes and i'm know that you don't need to much power to stop suspect chinned Berto but still Berto is a big Welter and collazo had a feather fist. Berto by UD or late stopage.
