Murray would beat Cotto, and go the distance with Canelo and Ward.

Murray is tough, he beat Martinez, knocked him down, but lost a home town decision. Murray also drew with Sturm after knocking him down, but again, home town decision...............Golovkin beat the **** out of him easily...................

Turn it in, not a chance of either of them stopping Murray.

Martin Low-Blow Murray goes the distance with all of them unless Cotto gets stopped.

predominately it's the Floyd fans who are in radical denial and jealousy of Triple G. it's usually amusing to watch them distort and rationalize.

Murray is a tough as nails he'd probably go the distance with all of them, even the bigger Ward.

Golovkin just hits so damn hard, especially to the body, he's just relentless you could see him gradually put more onto his punches as the fight went on and as tough as Murray is even he can take so much.

Murray did well though. He never quit, even late in the fight when he had a bad round he'd always fight back but you could see as the fight went on the power went out of his punches he no longer had the energy to throw back with full force.

I could not help thinking how Froch would do when watching this fight. Froch is easy to hit but so is Golovkin. Those shots Murray landed from Froch would have seen Golovkin in a very tough fight indeed.

that's assuming Golovkin would fight an elite puncher in the same style as he has others. doubtful. he could stay outside and eat Froch alive all night if he was of a mind to.

True but we haven't seen Golovkin fight in any other way. He always does the same thing, he stalks forward cutting off the ring and patiently breaks his opponent down.

We can only judge what he would do based upon what we have seen. But I'm not dismissing the possibility that Golovkin could change it up. After watching Kovalev shock everyone and outbox Hopkins it's clear anything can happen, especially when talking about elite boxers.

off the top of my head there are two examples of Golovkin fighting from the outside and not stalking. Ishida and Simon. two guys (with longer reach) who stood their ground and tried to outbox him. neither had ever been stopped. Golovkin knocked them both out with one punch (although Ishida had been seriously softened up) and was very difficult to land on. they are both faster than Froch & probably better boxers, although obviously not in his league as far as power or chin.

in short, as great a stalker as Golovkin is i think he's more lethal from the outside.

Murray would approach fights with all 3 differently to how he fought GGG

Sanchez even said GGG is a counter puncher disguised as a pressure fighter.
He is way more dangerous when people come to him.
Gaele is a good example what happens when someone overextends... he tagged GGG with a good punch and got laid out in the process

Look, I know people WANT to believe ggg is great...what i'm saying is, he hasn't shown greatness yet going 11 rounds with a guy like martin murray tells me that ggg is actually NOT great. he's pretty good. he has some solid skills...kassim ouma gave him trouble. curtis stevens for chrissakes....the definition of a clubfigher. ggg is fighting guys that are basically fodder.

right now i rank ggg about #6 among mw, below canelo, jacobs, andrade, ward and lara. i think a fight betweeen him and the charlo brothers or cotto would be great, evenly- matched fights.
