Anybody think murray would have gone 11 with cotto, canelo or ward?

look at these mooks on here trying to convince themselves that murray is a true world class guy. please y'all don't tell anybody who watches boxing murray is a dangerous fighter. Murray is no threat to a live contender in the vein of lara, andrade, canelo or the charlo's. they would wipe the floor with murray.

no disrespect to murray....but the guy has nothing to offer. murray would beat cotto? wth what? murray has NOTHING going for him....no offense, no speed, no power, easy to hit. he would be as helpless as a child against cotto. cotto would slash him to pieces.

fact is, murray would never even be approved as an opponent for cotto or canelo because of how lightly regarded he is.

 

not saying that ggg is not a top contender. of course he is....he's been impressive in several of his wins. i'm talking about the overblown hype surrounding the guy.

i like ggg too, just like i enjoy watching a lotta other guys. but i don't like the commentary from hbo acting like every time ggg lands a combination the fight should be stopped to protect the poor litte guy on the other end from a career-ending brutalization. creating this fake mythology around him as if all he has to do is touch a guy and the fight is about to be over...the problem wasn't murray's lack of ability to take ggg's punch....if that was the case, murray wouldn't have lasted to the 11th round....murray didn't run. and in many cases throughout the fight he was the one pressing the action.

the truth is, i would like to see ggg against canelo, andrade, lara, the charlos and cotto...how about chavez jr? quillen? andy lee? there's far better competition at mw than geale, macklin, murray and adama.

 

in america we have this thing called 'freedom of expression"...but of course you wouldn't know anything about that because you come from a backward schithole where they take you away in the middle of the night just for speaking your mind.

ggg is 33 already...probably past his prime. he might not think he can move up and beat younger, stronger guys the way floyd and them do.

 

can you picture how a canelo-ggg fight would play out? canelo has the faster hands and more aggressive style, but ggg has better movement and counterpunching. i think they drop each other...whoever can hold up best over a long tough fight wins....it would be a real test for ggg. he would get hurt and busted up and backed up...be interesting to see how he responds.

another threat is lemieux. he's another mw ggg could fight along with chavez jr, quillen, lee and cotto....all viable fights. all with some exceptional ability.

it would be an interesting fight, but i just think cotto is a little more complete as a fighter.
