Is there anybody out there that thinks Wlad can beat his older brother and why? I could not see it happening. Wlad would be dealing with somebody who is taller, has a better chin, and inst scared to get in on him and exchange punches. However you cant overlook the fact that Wlad has youth on his side and hasn't sufferd from injuries like vitali has.
Wlad would beat Vitali, he is the better boxer, better skills, harder puncher, better footwork, movement. Vitali is stiff and robotic. Wlad would beat Vitali on points.
You fail to mention that Wlad has a very fragile Chin and is also mentally fragile. Vitali knocks Wlad out in the mid rounds.
I think so. For me, even though Vitali is obviously a top guy right now, I don't have any doubt that Wlad would beat him at this point in their careers. Wlad right now is the complete package as far as a HW goes. His defense is pretty much perfect now. I don't see Vitali being able to land something too clean on him. Additionally...I'm not sure Vitali's defense would stop him from getting hit by Wlad over and over...and at this point, Wlad is probably the bigger puncher of the two.
A fight b/n these two would be choreographed to end in a draw. It would be boring as hell and make everybody lose interest in the heavyweight division..... even Don King!:yikes

And no, Wlad wouldn´t beat Vitali, not now , not ever.Wlad´s defence isn´t perfect, it´s just that most of the time he´s fighting smaller opponents which makes it easier for him to avoid getting hit clean.Against Vitali who can put pressure on Wlad that wouldn´t work. I also think Vitali is the smarter man in the ring. Besides all the reasons others mentioned(chin etc.) i think another reason Wlad would not win against Vitali is because deep down he wouldn´t want too.Vitali always was the leader in the family, paving the way for his brother, revenging his brother´s losses etc.Wlad always looked up to his brother.I think he knows a win over his brother would change the family dynamics and i really think Wlad prefers things the way they are.It would become a self-fulfilling prophecy that Wlad wouldn´t beat Vitali.
