I don't think he realised he had signed to BN at that point. Still, plenty of options for the guy.

In response to Mand... what do you think DeGale would have been saying?

Both parrot what their trainers/managers tell them.

If he'd beaten Groves that night, do you think he'd be Mr Realistic and Humble?

Groves and Degale are not a draw without each other.

"They seem to only excite and get interest, when they are grouped together"

I find Degale a incredibly boring fighter, and Groves..? Well i just cannot be bothered taking any interest.

I wonder if anyone else feels like this...

Dunno i'm not DeGale and not really bothered as the topic isn't about DeGale but i'd have no doubt he'd of been talking big like Groves humbly did, Dunno why it always swings into a DeGale vs Groves debate with you. Groves was the one who made the PPV comment and i posted as part of my post.

Personally from my POV and looks like Roe sees my point he's lost momentum in terms of mainstream fans due to him being on Boxnation. It doesn't look like this fight is gonna attract the interest it could of/should of..

DeGale is relevant just because you've given him a pass for being an absolute, smug-faced bellend in the past. Groves made that comment right after beating DeGale because it was on PPV. So I think it's fair to bring Chunky into it.

You seem to hold Groves to an unusually high standard for anything he says.

But I do agree with what you're saying in general. Any domestic fighter at the prospect/contender stage is suffering for the channel's low reach.

No, You seem to make situations to suit yourself. We've been over this before with DeGale/Groves. Is my point right or wrong?.

Otherwise bringing DeGale into it for me personally just seems like a dig cos your a Groves fan and DeGale hater. It's cool but gets tedious really when it's not needed to be brought up.

Anyways my post still stands, i don't even see where it's a dig personally just a comment. I think the move lost him momentum with mainstream fans when he could of pushed on.

Haha, strangely it is actually true. At one point I thought it was george groves who was shot, but then he was fine in the post fight interview.

Groves felt he'd have won had the fight gone on and stieglitz said he'd give him a rematch, was bizarre, think I may need to see someone

All it was missing was David Haye with a tripod...maybe the gunman was Chisora...
