Anybody thinks Gomez has a shot against Cotto ?

Bad poll. I can't say he has no chance but I have no other choice but to vote that in this poll.

 

Any boxer has a chance really, there's always the possibility of a lucky haymaker or a cut or something. Is it likely for Gomez to win? Not really, but it is possible.

 

I always said Paul was overrated but I didnt know enough about Carlos to think he'd beat Paul. After about 3 rounds I knew it was over though.

You do the math. Still, Cotto isn't exactly a defensive genius, and he's not known for a granite chin, so who knows, Gomez might catch him. But very unlikely.

We're talking about a guy who went life and death with Jesse Feliciano. A fighter, who is much like Gomez in class.

That's all i have to say. If you think I'm delusional for thinking Gomez stands a very little chance of beating Cotto, that's fine, however:

Cotto is much stronger, faster, ring smarter, versatile, has more heart (debatable), has faught and beat much better competition, and has proven himself to be among the elite level.

Gomez' has perhaps (debatable) a better chin, and was on The Contender.

Now, why don't you tell me why that isn't valid. :deal
