Anybody worried a bit for B-Hop???

Father time is the only undefeated opponent in boxing.... But poor comparison. Ruddock was inactive for well over a decade, and doesn't have anywhere near the boxing brain of Hopkins. That said.. Could definitely go all wrong for Hopkins tonight. Eventually someone like Joe Smith will just have too much for Hopkins. Is it tonight though? We'll find out!

 

Ruddock at 52 had been a shot fighter for like 20 years. Hopkins has had good performances dating back not that long ago and his style is far more suited for longevity.

 

Hopkins isn't being drug tested , he got a vada exemption, while smith is bring tested . maybe PEDs will counter act the aging or maybe that's what hopkins is aiming for

 

At his age he might have been able to get a TUE exemption.

 

A complete exemption from any drug testing at all? Do 50 year olds not even pee?

 

Have to be worried when a 52-year-old man steps into the ring with a bona fide contender. That I know nothing about Smith except the Fonfara fight makes it even more ominous. Picked Hopkins for the win and hope he'll pull through. He'd better f*cking retire afterwards though.

There is always the chance he gets served up by a shot tonight. I think he has enough left to tough out an uneventful UD and get out unscathed.

 

Doesn't matter that he's a millionaire. As we all know, the guy's not doing it for the money. Like so many others, he just doesn't know when to quit. It's been his life for three decades and it must be hard for him to give it up. Fortunately for him, he's a freak of nature. I don't understand it either but I hope to God that this will indeed be his last fight and that he gets the swansong he deserves tonight.

 

I hope he gets dropped for a 50 count.

 

C'mon, man. The guy's an all-time great. Two HOF careers rolled into one. At the top of the sport for decades. Yes, he's a salty mother but you have to give the man his dues.

 

Oh he's a crafty GOOD boxer no doubt. HOF fighter yeah. That's all I'm giving him. Some of the things he's spewed in the past... nah. Can't say I don't hope he gets tagged in this fight.
