WTF? Bika clearly lost. It boggles my mind how people say Bika gave Calzaghe a tough fight. Did Bika even land one power shot all night?

 

the lacy and jones junior fights could have gone either way. woodhall and eubank both gave him a good fight.

quite right, why try to undermine they guy. He is a HOF SMW and he earned his place by sticking there for 10 years even though the resume is pretty bad. Lets be honest, bad resumes are becoming more commonoplace these days, gone are the days when fighters fought the best consistently (though Froch and Ward appear to be bucking that trend in SMW) JUst a shame Zaghes has to share the berth with Ottke, who is a serious joke of a SMW HOFer. All we need now is some ATG SMWs for the division (if you discount Jones for his too brief soriee into SMW..Jones is more of a universal ATG than a single division one).

There's plenty of criticisms you can level at Calzaghe, but questionable decisions are not one of them.

 

Calzaghe was far too smart to get in the ring with anyone who might beat him in their current form at the time. He only made that mistake really once with Reid, -and possibly with Kessler?
