Looked a half wit whoever he was ^ I've been to numerous boxing shows all over the UK (gave last nights a miss due to prior commitments) and there's always a bampot scummish element wherever it is however looking at last nights crowd all be it just on the tele it looked like it was hoaching of them. It's sad boxing attracts these type of folk and I guarantee a vast percentage of those there last night wouldn't have a clue who Carl Froch is if you have a conversation with them or even who Nigel Benn was. Normally always kicks off to a slight degree anyway and the booze just adds fuel to the fire. Shame, because a like a good swally on a saturday night but it's not my priority when going to a show
most of them will just be supporting their mate/mates of mates/brothers ect, yeah they probably won't have much of an interest in Boxing but you wouldn't sell any tickets if it wasn't for these bampots, least it gives the night a bit of atmosthere, makes it a bit **** at the same time though.
Yeah i was there last night and thought it was full of abosulte tools looking for a fight, people steamin all over the place and the toilets where a disaster zone, i was at Burns' win over Martinez and the crowd didn't seem half as bad as it was last night, full of wido's!!! PS - Good to see Ricky win though
Aye, I saw the skirmish going on .. it was the far opposite side to where I was though. I think I was in amongst most of Rickys mates and family though. A few of them shouted over to Billy as he walked past and the woman behind us (sounded like Burns family) was having a bit of fun with the bit of stardom that Billy Nelson has got going at the mo. There was a good crowd up for Webb and the lad Evans but they disappeared after his fight. On the whole, just the usual assortment of young lads on their first boxing night, guys that you know follow the sport and a bunch of twats with too much testosterone flowing. I think the comment I made out loud when I seen the fight was "always has to be one *****, int there?", I cheered for both Appleby & Burns. Couldn't give a **** who was sitting around me, both fighters should be supported.
