Anyone agree that Caballero has a real chance to beat Gamboa?

I think there is a real chance that Gamboa could be taken into the deep waters and drowned there.

I really think Caballero's range is going to present a major challenge for Gamboa.

caballero has a chance but honestly he's weak and cant punch that much, also he doesnt uses his reach to his advantage, so i see a wild crazy fight that goes to he score cards in favor of gamboa

    :hat

No. Ever since Caballero beat that Canadian bum everyone has been riding him.
If i remember correctly he was being put down before that fight and the Canadian guy was supposed to beat him.
Since then he has been unimpressive and is a KO waiting to happen.

Gamboa would take him out in the early rounds.

Gamboa: too fast, precise, powerful, and dynamic...overall an excellent boxer with superior fundamentals (if he chooses to). I think he will blow out caballero, almost like Mtagwa. Mark my words...

I would expect Gamboa to really rattle the hell out of Caballero.

NO. Caba is very overrated. He would be a better stylistic match up for Lopez but I think both KO him. Lopez just a little later than Gamboa.

Gamboa is too good and will KO Caballero in the middle rounds.

Of course he has chance but that chance is slimmer than an anorexic skeleton on crack.

Caballero has some good technical skills and can work of a good jab. I give him a good chance against Gamboa. It will be a good fight, the longer the fight goes into the later rounds, the more that it'll favor Caba.

I'm a big Yuri fan, but I'd say Gamboa has a real chance to beat Caballero, not the other way around. We are talking about a proven and accomplished top professional vs. a rising former amataur star, so far Celestino answered a lot more questions.

It's quite outstanding how fans ("Cab no good") and experts (top15, the Ring top 10 P4P) opinion differ so much. IMO experts slightly oversell him, I'd put him in a top20 but not top 10 P4P list, but fans clearly not give him proper credit. Sure Celestino had a mediocre performance lately, but people hold it against him as if didn't put away Ponce De Leon, champion Sithchatchawal and champion Molitor very impressively (Ponce by schooling, others by KO) - all three on enemy territory!

Caballero is the Abraham type of guy who raises his game with the level of opposition, and surely Gamboa has the much better tools, Cab has that Paul Williams freak of a nature physique, busy punching and good power.

Lopez, a proven champion was avoding him for a reason, so as much as I like Gamboa's chances in this fight, making your advantages work against such an awkward opponent is easier said than done, and it's a HUGE step-up for Gamboa.

    Cab is a physco!

To me Gamboa is a large grey area still and until he fights a guy his own size rather than pick on lighter guys like Mtgawa Lopez and Caballero why doesnt he fight John the title he is an interim of. Not sold on him until he fights a guy his weight not some guy coming off a loss at a lighter weight to promote a fight with another guy at a lighter weight. Gamboa has a wealth of ability but until I see him in with a guy worth talking about at feather I'm not convinced yet.

Caballero is a solid fighter but I think some are starting to overrate him. He took Molitor apart but Molitor is simply average. DeLeon was a nice win but DeLeon is just begging to be outboxed by anyone with some skill. Caballero would have matched up better with Lopez because I think Gamboa is going to knock him out. Good fight but Gamboa by ko.
