As per title I have had a torn TFCC ligament in my left wrist which stopped me from training for almost 5 years. I had ligament debridement surgery 10 months ago and still not able to punch yet.

I was injured for 4 years prior to surgery due to useless doctors misdiagnosis! In this time I have put on roughly 4 stone in weight due to not being able to stick to any fitness training routine because I don't enjoy them but love boxing I even developed bad shin splints due to trying to stick with running and skipping after the injury so that stopped me all together, I actually have a torn scapholunate ligament in the same wrist that never healed from same injury but the wrist has compensated for this and I no longer have pain from this and no surgeon will touch it.

Has anyone had any luck and got back to training from a tfcc injury?

I started to train boxing after broken both bones (radius and ulna) in my right arm twice. My doctor said to me if I broke it again, my hand would be useless. After two years of swimming almost every day I started to train boxing. Everybody told me I`m insane and I didnt give a ****. now I`m training more than 6 years and its the best thing I did in my life :)

Good to hear mate how long did you wait in total from surgery to boxing? I'm desperate to get back into it but not looking forward to the pain of starting again lol. I Would love to compete just hope 24 isn't too old? Also would need to drop about 5 stone after all the weight I've put on while being injured
