Going tomorrow to both sessions. There's a four and a half hour gap in between which might be tought to kill. Anyone got any tips? Can I bring food/drink/a bag in? Are there long queues at the bar, and can you bring beers to your seat? What kind of food ican you get there? And most importantly, how long do you have to queue to get in the arena? Any advice would be appreciated. Cheers.
You can bring food, but only about a small quarter bottle of water. The food in the excel was rubbish and expensive. I'd def bring it in!!!!!! I just popped over to westfield in stratford and grabbed some good food and a coffee whilst waitng for the next sitting, there's loads of places to eat in and drink. The atmosphere is buzzing round stratford! You can also check out that pleasure gardens place right next to excel, but I never bothered with it. You can bring beers and food ringside!!!!! I went to some last 32's and a 16. The atmosphere was amazing. Better than most small hall fights and big fights I have been too. Really enjoyable and all the seats in there are good! I payed 20 quid each ticket inc the travelcard they give you. Works out at about 13 quid as I would have needed a travelcard, absolute peanuts!!!! Oh yeah queing was rapid all the times I went.
Try get seating in the stand 317, cos the boxers sit in the stand next to it, we got to meet all the boxers & coaches, talked to buncey & Richie Woodhall, it really made the experience so much better Everything's expensive but that's to be expected, well wish I had tickets
Thanks for the tips guys, that's really helpful. I've got pretty expensive tickets for both sessions, as they were the only ones available. Pretty hyped for tomorrow!
I'm going to the afternoon tomorrow, can't wait. Glad Campbell and Ogogo got through, shame about Stalker. Thanks for the advive ems_kto
