Only afew fighters in the game know the truth about the situation. Chris Eubank and Audley Harrison are the only ones i can mention..? Due to my own personal safety. Why do you people think Audley Harrison moved to the states..? Audley Harrison had to get away from the Groves situation, and conceal the information he knows until further notice. There cannot be too many forces close to Groves, otherwise the dark side of his personality can rise. People think they know this game of boxing.? But they don't know ****.
The arse bandit circle have tried their very very very best once again, I say, bless em! Next time you meet up at a fight, instead of planning dirty deeds to do on a forum, what tough guys! Just arrange to go to someones house, and just get it all over and done with. The sexual tension in here is incredible. People with 50 million posts, accusing others of being here before and trying to be the grammar police to derail another craney91 thread....they see my name, and the siren starts! "MUST get in to derail thread, quick fellow arseholes! Hurry! Hasten! Get in the craney91 thread my fellow believers..we..must..destroy..thread..for. mankind!!!!!" Shouldn't you lot be back on world of warcraft...its been 5 minutes already? Leave us to talk the boxing, please.
I agree. I think Groves will box well early but end up getting tagged and hurt at some point, then it will be downhill from there. Late stoppage!
I think Groves will win but this fight is perfect for him cos (as people have already put) johnsons main shot is his right hand over the top which is groves main weak point so he will have to get that main problem out of his style.
The question you have to ask is, can Groves neutralize that over the top right hand, can he eliminate it? Is he that advanced, that he can take away the danger punch? Can he take a punch like that, if it lands, and still stand? I dont think he can, and its a matter of time when it lands, and when it does, its quite possibly lights out for the pretender. The first thing to go, are the legs, but the power remains. Johnson can still punch, and he can still bring it. Johnson is a nightmare for this cocky version of Groves, because Johnson pulls no punches, and turns up to fight, he wont f*ck about and drop to his level. Groves tries to be flash on the outside, Johnson can close the gap with that reaching over the top right hand, when it lands on the baby faced chin, its game over. If Groves was 100% committed to the task, and showing it, I would say Groves wins, but the fact is, Groves isnt showing it, and he isnt coming across as committed, so that alone levels up the field in itself. I ain't looking at age in this fight, nor Johnson's recent decline. I'm looking at Groves' attitude going into this fight, and I have to say, he is just asking for it! Booth aint laughing, because he aint stupid, he knows how dangerous this fight can be for Groves. If Groves wants to f*ck about, and bring that cockiness into the ring, just watch Glen level his ass....and Booth will whisper in George's ear.....I hate to say I told you so. Who is laughing now? .....James De Gale will be! But he can laugh all he wants! Chunky got it coming around the corner to, especially with the way he is fighting and his attitude to the most brutal mainstream sport in the biz. This aint to be taken lightly, and time and time again, ive seen it. As soon as they take their eye of the ball, and get ahead of them self, there is always someone around the corner, with the punch to bring them down to earth. :deal These pair wont get anywhere, with this new found attitude. (although James is trying to grow up, Groves seems to be going the other way) Chris Eubank was bang on the money years ago about James DeGale, but Groves is going backwards and going the same way. :bart
At this point, Johnson is more shot than Abraham Lincoln, he's one of my favourite fighters but he retired a few months ago after losing to a nobody, I'm not sure he has anything left to offer? But if Glen can roll back the years for one night, George better be ready for a 12 round war - you aren't stopping Glen - and throwing lots of flashy shots and banking early rounds won't deter the Road Warrior either. One of the keys to beating Glen is patience
johnson said himself he was just about finished....i'd be interested in hearing what he says about himself going into this fight...has he been interviewed much about it ?
