People should forget about the "calling out" and forum bull****. These guys and their teams are trying set up a multi-million £ fight, not deciding who should hold the coats for a scrap in the playground after school. Theres PPV money, rematch clauses, options, location...yadda, yadda. It takes time and both sides will want to get the best deal for their man.
You can call it a hate thread if that's how you see it (then again, you've got a dickhead in your avatar), but like I said, I like Haye as a fighter, and would support him against most heavyweights, but not against Wlad (although I'd probably support him against Vitali), or Audley. I used to be an all-out fan, but I think Booth and Haye have been taking the **** with this whole ordeal, and wouldn't mind seeing the former sacked (for being an incompetent piece of ****) and the latter corrected by Wlad. And it was all agreed upon, once with each brother.
You surely can't blame Haye for not fighting Wlad after the Setanta funding for his purse fell though??
I'm beginning to think Haye is a fraud aswell. I can't criticise his CW career, but he's failed to live up to his own hype at heavyweight (claiming he'd beat two top 10 heavies within a year) and seems to be avoiding Wladimir again :verysad
In itself, no, although if he really wanted to he could have. But it certainly debunks the "unacceptable deal" arguments, because if it wasn't acceptable Haye wouldn't have signed in the first place. After the Wlad fight falling through, the same thing happened with Vitali. You what?
The old "I used to be a fan but" tactic to disguise blind hate of a fighter is an outdated one. Try harder to mask your resentment.:good
He's not backing up his words. Have you forgotten what he said when he came up to heavyweight? Two years later we're still waiting for him to beat two top 10 fighters. If he fights Wlad next, fine. Its not looking good though
Like I said, I still am a fan. It's just that while I would previously counter people claiming that he was ducking the Klitschko's and that he was all talk, I now feel that they were justified to say so and that while I definitely wouldn't call him a coward (took all the fights at cruiser, got in the ring with Valuev), I think he's been a bit deceptive with the whole Klitschko affair. Let's face it mate, if he really wanted to, he could have fought at least one of them by now. Also, as I said before, I'd support him against the likes of Arreola and Adamek (both would be great fights), but I think he needs a lesson against Wladimir.
Facts; Since moving up 2 years ago he hasn't fought two top 10 heavyweights like he said he would He pulled out of fighting Wlad He pulled out of fighting Vitali
