Lesnar docked a point for rabbit punching. Smothers Mir with punches and elbows for a minute, then knocks him down and jumps on him, seems kind of awkward and uncertain with Mir's guard, Mir out of nowhere gets a foot lock, and BROCK TAPS.
Brock Lesnar was beating the hell out of Mir, but man, he was way too loose. You don't jump around like that with Mir on the ground. Lesnar should have gotten in that guard, instead of offering every limb he had up for a lock.
Yeah, Lesnar vs. a striker would have been a way better first match. I'm not sure if UFC wanted to embarrass Lesnar, or give him an easy win. If it was the latter, then they're idiots. Don't put a relative rookie in with a jiu jitsu fighter and former champion.
