I didn't see the fight, but I thought that with Khans chin and the odds of 7-1 of a Prescott KO it was worth a shot.
I put a tenner on so got back £80. Anyone else have a flutter?

placed 5 pound bet right before that punch landed. i liked the look of prescott.

i had a 5 pound bet with my mate early today that amir would win. got the normal even money (as you always do with freinds). better than the bookies. i then decided to place my potential winning on bP

I was thinking of whacking a tenner on 1st round, but I honestly thought it would go longer than that.

I thought about it based on Prescotts record but the whole thing of Khans new trainer having trained Prescotts last opponent put me off. I also didn't realize it was anything like 7-1. Hey ho!!

them bets are for mugs. the win bet is the best option or a proposition bet (KO or decision win)

Ah they aren't for mugs as long as you go small stakes at big odds. I wouldn't be sticking anything more than a tenner on a round bet. Very hard to pick a round for a stoppage.
100/1 though!!! Hindsight is 20/20 vision and all that but that was some price for a big puncher. I guess the bookies swallow some of the bull**** that gets fed around about boxers too. Big Puncher with 90% KO record v Chinnier than Jimmy Hill and stuck on his arse by a couple of FW's. How they got 100/1 the 1st round KO on that I'll never know
