If Hatton gets into that ring at anything like prime then paulie is going home on a stretcher.
mid to late rounds KO. just got a hunch.
Hatton's training videos are starting to look very impressive!

i really hope hatton does it. i dont mind saying i'm a big fan . but it does depend on what he's got left in the tank. he's superior to malignaggi but not so much that he wont need to be at his best to win. hatton has looked good training but theres always a chance mayweather sr may overload his head with new techniques and he ends up losing what he had in the first place.

The American is rather feather-fisted but is an absolute warrior. The Brit is a bull but not too tactically sound. Can't call it. I dunno if those weak punches that the Yank dishes out will be enough to keep the English lad from mauling him. Gotta see which version of each fighter enters into the ring although my heart indubitably goes with the American.

Hatton wide UD (118-110) or late TKO

Paulie possesses absolutely nothing that would worry the Hitman at all - no power, not particularly fast and is hittable, especially to the body.

He does have a decent chin and heart - good job......

Because he will need it in order to avoid a savage beating.

Hatton looks much better in training than he did prior to Lazcano, whom he still battered, so watch out, Paulie :good

Probably Hatton but I'm honestly not as convinced as some. It will be interesting to see if Floyd's training has made any difference or possibly even that Ricky will suffer for it.

If Pac beats Oscar (unlikely), I'd love to see Pac V Hatton. It's a real live fight then with Pac beating Diaz as well. It would be a bit of a tear up, great stuff!

I'm not too keen on Oscar V Hatton; and I wish Oscar would go away to be honest.

that is a big factor, because i actualy think floyd is going to improve hatton alot tacticly, and that was an area he was realy behind in at world level
so if hatton takes the gameplans in fully, i think he will win
but it is too late in the game i feel for hatton to achieve this in 1 training camp
he will resort to his usual ways and i think the win will sneak away from him

:yikes OK, then Pac is doomed. I go for De La Hoya by KO.

Seriously now, from the moment the fight was announced I had a feeling Paulie is going to win this one. I am not saying that Hatton suddenly is no good, but I didn't like the way he looked overall in the Lazcano fight.

PaddyD1983 talked about Hatton's body punching... you have a point, BUT! The Cotto fight is a strong indication for me that Malignaggi can take the blows from a strong puncher (be it head shots or body shots). Remember, he fought many rounds with a broken jaw and lost only by a few points. I believe if Paulie resembles the fighter we saw in the Cotto fight, he has a very good chance to frustrate Hatton with his speed and score more points to take the win.

The x-factor here could be the trainer change for Hatton... don't know how it will benefit him. We'll have to see.

Anyway, my pick is Malignaggi by Decision.
