Anyone else disappointed Bivol didn't get the stoppage?

Yes, levels above Pascal at this point of his career you utter moron. If Bivol couldn't stop a Pascal around the froch-Bute era, no one would criticize him. When Floyd fought Berto he was 40.
Lol at you going crazy over a typo. Now keep crying and playing victim you ****ing snowflake ******.

Didn't see the weight advantage. Pascal is definitely in shape. He sure does look the part.

I was impressed with Bivol. He put on a masterful performance against a very cagey veteran. Bivol has some serious defensive skills as well. Most of Pascal's home run swings hit Bivol's guard or were complete misses. This was mostly a one-sided fight the entire way.

I largely dismiss the complaints about not knocking out Pascal. Bivol did enough damage to make Pascal wary of him and allowed him to control the fight.

Yeah I'm sure that extra 7lbs and the fact that Pascal's chin is iron even against legit KO artists his own weight helped him absorb Bivol's power.

Not really. Bivol is a talented fighter but not a show stopper. I see him getting stopped by elite talent.

Bivol can STILL make 168, he was never billed as a huge puncher. And Pascal has a good chin.
    You do the math.

Since I predicted Bivol to win by KO11, and was this close to going with Bivol via wide UD. It didn't disappoint me, it was expected. It took Bivol 12 rounds to stop Barrera, now keep in mind Valera, Joe Smith Jr. and Slava Shabranskyy put Barrera down early, and while they lost, they lost because they didn't have the skillset to land consistently and accurately on Sullivan enough to get him out of there. Well... the same doesn't apply for Bivol, who is an incredibly accurate puncher. So that kind of revealed to me that he's a little bit of a featherfist. Because the reality is, had Joe Smith Jr. been able to land as accurately on Barrera as Bivol did, the fight would have been over in 2 rounds.

Maybe he's not everything HBO made him out to be. I've always liked Gvozdyk and Beterbiev more.

Why would he be getting "stopped"?

You ever play tee-ball? Little league? We had a kid who couldn't hit the ball even when it was all set up for him too.

Mayweather wasn't considered a power puncher at 147, Mayweather didn't avoid Cotto but in fact was avoided by Cotto. At 147 Mayweather was respected for ring IQ and technical skillset. JM has never been knocked out, Pac couldn't do it and he hit him with everything but the kitchen sink. On the other hand Bivol was lauded for his power and knockout capabilities. That doesn't mean he has to get a knockout in all his fights but against fighters like Pascal, people seem to expect that. Some think that if Kovalev stopped him then Bivol should also. I am not one of those people. I like Bivol more for his boxing.

No disappointment. He boxed well and put good combinations together. You can't KO them all.

They don't ALWAYS need to do anything, but going into the 12th round with the third washed-up old guy in a row isn't a good look when they are tying to build you a fan base.
