Sounds crazy because Inoue win every second of every round and made the guy quit on his stool... Yet I can't help but feel a slight disappointment. Maybe Inoue pressed to hard for the highlight reel KO instead of letting it happen organically. And I think his defense is somewhat lacking.

Hate to say it, but I think Rungvisai, Cuadras, and Estrada all beat him right now. The good thing is that he's still very young and isn't a finished product.

BTW, Inoue himself is disappointed in his own performance.

He was missing a lot, and was also getting caught. He dominated but didn't really impress against an overmatched opponent. But he's still very young and was probably nervous fighting in the US for the first time.

I didn't see him miss a lot... Hit a lot glove, though. I saw a guy focused and fighting to not get KO'd.

    Inoue is very good offensively

    Can be lazy defensively

He's still got time to come on

    Good fighter

Maybe it was just hard to get up for a showcase fight.

I wasn't that impressed to be honest... yes hes got impressive power but you can see the defensive flaws in him. hes going to get caught eventually. and tbh I wouldn't pick him to run thru the cuadras, estrada and thia guy.. I think any of those 3 would have a chance.

That's how most opponents have fought him. They just tend to cover up and block the shots to avoid Inoue landing clean shots. Regardless of that, Inoue throws the punches anyway, often without holding back so you do see him landing a lot of fast hard shots on elbows, shoulders and gloves as well as top of heads.

That could explain why so far in his short career, he's had more than his fair share of damaged hand problems.

Lomachenko does the same thing every fight and YOU call him a genius. Was the difference between the two besides the obvious facial features?

Lomachenko has a much higher work rate and relies on head and foot movement. Very unique.

Inoue throws mostly single shots and barely moves his head. Super textbook.

Loma paints. Inoue tries to blow you out.

Lol are you having a laugh?
Please don't compare this flash in the pan to lomachenko.
A closer comparison would be nonito donaire...and I'm not talking about facial features
