Anyone Else Disappointed By Naoya Inoue's Performance?!

He looked decent enough but of course there is plenty to pick at as well.

 

he looked really good. very classy.

is he fighting the thai next? or is he fighting estrada next?

should be some good fights coming up.

 

What do you expect from a fighter who only has seventy five amateur fights and his fourteenth professional bout was last night? I wasn't disappointed at all.

 

he's very good but there are some holes if you wanna nitpick. doesn't have much nuance to his defense (relies almost exclusively on reflexes and often gets hit with straight punches), struggled with cutting the ring off at times, seemed to get a little tired for a bit in round 4 (which would be a problem against the tireless rungvisai). i think he's special and the best fighter in the sport under the age of 25, but that's not to say i'd necessarily pick him against everybody in the division right now.
