When I saw him against Maidana I thought he had all the skills to become a p4p king. Maybe I was overrating him, but come round 6 or whenever, he showed not just does he have a fairly poor chin, he has a very low pain threshold.

He was caining Maidana on points but just quit. Now you seen his next fight? Scheduled for an old boy who's lost 8 out of his last 10.

What would happen in Valero came calling? Head for the hills! He doesn't deserve to wear the Mexican colours

This might explain something about the Maidana fight.

His confidence has been shot since though, even though he followed that fight with a K.O victory.

It's going to take a couple of wins for him be back to normal, he's fighting some bum on Feb 25th & then Nate Campbell from what I've read on articles, he then should start to being back to his normal self after if he wins those.

Im wondering about this Campbell fight because you know Campbell will try to force the fight and break you. Ortiz doesnt seem to have a very strong will so that fight could get bad for him.

Hey thanks for posting the video man that was a great interview. Ortiz is very young and is going through a lot of battles in his life and always has. Nobody can take anything away from him, if he can work through the troubles set it aside and focus on his boxing career, he can win back all the fans and prove how great he is. He's definitely got what it takes :bbb

PS: That's some bull**** cutting off the interview just to get us to visit the site, I used to be subscribed to that whack ass on youtube but not for a while now, the pendejo :yep

Victor is flawed, as are all of us. The problem is that he has turned his back on those that cared about him and got him to where he is. Him and Jose Louis Gonzalez are cut out of the same cloth. They need to go back to their roots. Make amends, get back to the basics.

To answer your questions . Ortiz ate some very big shots and his face was a mess. I think that his chin is OK. His defense was poor and I think he has problems seeing some punches. Everyone has weak moments he fought a wrong game plan took a beating and quit. Vitali Klit also quit once but was ready to die in the Lewis fight. So what maybe he will come back stronger. And don't forget he is very very young. I don't know how old are you but I don't think that all my decisions were perfect when I was 22.

There are fighters at 140 that I will favor at 140 but not Nate. It's not easy to be the pressure fighter when you are a lot smaller than you opponent.

Campbell sucks, ppl need to realize this. Ortiz will never rule 140, but he'll batter Campbell.

Victor Ortiz has a glass heart. There is no other way to put it. If he fights anyone with a pulse, expect him to quit again unless he gets starched cold first. Valero would be absolute hell for him. The interview he gave after the Maidana fight was real and uncut. That is EXACTLY how he feels. It was raw and true and told me everything I need to know about him.

Fact: When things don't go Ortiz's way, he quits.
