    Gary Russell is fighting again!

I remember the times when he was fighting around my birthday for a couple of years. Then he completely fell off the grid.

Mark Magsayo has improved since his early fights as a pro. He now has a jab to go with his high aggression style. Before he was just throwing wild hooks without any true purpose. Now he's thinking a bit more. I still think he's short when it comes to footwork though, and your feet need to be sublime to get around that lightning fast jab of Gary Russell.

But Gary will inevitably have ring rust and those opening few rounds could give Magsayo an opportunity to land something big. My worry is that Gary has a solid chin and he's rarely hurt in fights.

I think Magsayo's feet won't be good enough to avoid Russell's jab and his power not quite enough to dent Russell. I expect a comfortable decision for Gary in this fight, with maybe one or two rounds given away early to an aggressive Magsayo.

Excited to see this fight. Wish it was talked about more. Mark could be better than some of us think.

Russells good and its nothing personal but for clear reasons everyone is well aware of I do want him to lose.

Fights tomorrow and I'm so stoked. I still can't decide but my gut feeling tells me that this could be a hard fight for Russell. I think Magsayo's speed and skills are being slept on but he definitely has that danger factor to him. Looking forward to a nice scrap.

I do wonder if Russell is having his eyes on a Tank fight and overlooking Magsayo.

as much as I want magsayo to win, he ain't. barely won against a fighter who arguably lost his last 4 fights.

We also have a rematch fight between Subriel Matias (who is always exciting to watch) and Petros Ananyan on the undercard which should be a really good fight as well. First fight was a banger.
