His mom and wife were extremely sad at the ringside. Didn't you notice that? But for me, I was very glad that Hatton got knocked out for the first time in his life by the best P4P in the world. I was really happy to watch that.

Anyone who doesn't feel for Hatton is a ****. You will never know the love that we have for him or how gutted we are that he lost. Its ****ing heartbreaking seeing a guy put his heart on the line and fight so desperately and then get KO'd. Seeing a guy who's come up from nothing, from a close working-class community that has been decimated by poverty and crime, get beat like that is horrible.

Gloat somewhere else, coz Hatton doesn't deserve any humiliation after the performance he put on tonight.

    No, no.

That would be closer to a happy emotion than sad one I believe.

Well what could he have done better, honestly? I think he could have thrown more body shots, but really, he had no chance.

It was the same Hatton. The key difference was that PBF wasn't past his prime and PBF could use his footwork unlike Zoo who couldn't.

to a certain degree because I like hatton a lot..but he just went home 10 million dollars richer..so, you can't really feel TOO sorry for him.

although i am embaressed because i kept clowning all the people i watched the fight with that wanted mayweather to win by yelling 'THERE'S ONLYYYYY ONEE RICKYYY HATTTON!" at them to cause some ****. :yep

The poster makes a valid point going by boxing fan logic however.

Tszyu was fine before the Hatton fight, but shot after it.

What is to say that Ricky did not get "shot" moments before the first bell? I hear he likes to eat and drink a lot.

I felt bad for Hatton, but only for a moment.....then I realized how could a man like Ricky Hatton go home all that disapointed with the chants and songs from the British faithful still ringing in his ear even after the stoppage.

Even in defeat, I believe Hatton will go home to a hero's welcome, and be content with the grade A effort that he put out!
......thats all that can be asked of a human being really!
