Anyone else feel Hrgovic beat Zhang ?

    I had H winning by 1 I think. I’m gonna have to run it back though because in the moment the knock down didn’t look legit and I was pissed mighta clouded my judgement

    A lot of people who scored it for Big Bang Zhang had him edging it by a round. The KD which really shouldn't have been counted because it was a clump round the back of the mind followed by a forearm/wrist pull down. Also there were complaints about the canvas being slippery all night and the KD turned a 10-9 round for Hrgovic into a 10-8 one for Big Bang. I'm just being real with you.

    6-6 in rounds, 114-113 Zhang, due to a 10-8 round scored to Bang in round 1.

    You would have to be very sympathetic or a total fanboy to give him the victory over Zhang.

    This was my scorecard in the RBR

    1 Zhang 10-8
    2 Hrgovic
    3 Zhang
    4 Zhang Close
    5 Hrgovic Close round Zhang rocked him towards the end of the round
    6 Zhang big round for Zhang
    7 Hrgovic Both men looking tired
    8 Hrgovic Good round for Hrgovic Zhang looking the more tired fighter but Zhang still looks dangerous
    9 Zhang comes back well and steals the round hurting Hrgovic loving this fight
    10 Hrgovic you really can't tell what's gonna happen next
    11 Hrgovic competitive round though, i really don't like the way Hrgovic reacts after getting hit
    12 Hrgovic

    114-113 Hrgovic

    But i could definitely see an argument for Zhang winning the 5th round was debatable, overall wasn't impressed with Hrgovic though i don't like how he reacts to getting hit. But it was a fun fight to watch regardless alot of back and forth momentum swings.

    It was very close. One round either way was fine.

    Forgetabout a rematch. Zhang has bigger fish to fry as he waits for a title shot. He should fight a Babic or an
    Arreola or a Spillka in China where he can safely make some big yuan.

    Very close fight that in all honesty could have gone either way but I had Hrgovic by a point as Zhang gassed at the end. The fight showed how tough Hrgovic is as he took several bombs and still stood. The KD in the first was not a KD. It was a pull down.

    usually the loser is the one pushing for the rematch tbh.

    Actually the bottom line is Zang threw everything at him and was lucky to make it to the end.

    you can’t take the last 4 or 5 rounds off and expect to win.
