Anyone else feel Hrgovic beat Zhang ?

Hrgovic was pilloried for his display but on reflection he did pretty well.

 

He showed he has the best chin in heavyweight, which everybody gave to Joyce. Hrgovic endured 12 rounds in 1 fight, Joyce endured 9 round over 2 fights.

 

I scored the fight 114-113 for Hrgo. Zhang dropped Hrgo and hurt him numerous times putting incomparably more damage on his opponent. But Croatian guy won more rounds, so yes, he deserved the win by boxing rules.

 

I think he just nicked it with more solid consistent work in the middle rounds, but it was a fight where all the eye catching stuff came from Zhang's side, hence people coming away with the impression he was robbed.

 

Dropped by hook on the back of the head

 

I though Zhang won by a round. Scored the fight second time and had the same result.
I even had my scoring somewhere on here in the forums, but no sense to waste time to dig them.
Anyway in that fight there wasn't really a loser. Both comes with high heads.

And after Zhang performances, Hrgovic stocks raise big time.

 

IMO Hrgović Vs. Zhang was supposed to be a draw, and a rematch should be scheduled immediately. It looks like Hrgovic and Zhang have unfinished business.
But that has nothing to do with Zhang Vs. Joyce.
