no i disagree,
larios was in good form, and there was no evidence during or after that bout that he was wasted, he went on to win a title and defend it. he still had a bit left. who knows linares may be a late bloomer i dont believe we'v seen the best of him, martinez wasn't overly impressive early on in his career even though he showed tools of being elite he could not quite put it together till he reached his 30's.
maybe 2 or 3 years down the line we'd see the same with linares.

 

HBO were all over Linares's nuts in that fight. It was nearly enough to make me turn the commentary off.
