Anyone else feel totally uninterested in the 'big week' of PacMan-DLH?

yeah i know the feeling. i think i felt it about a few weeks ago before the jones-calzaghe fight.

the only thing that interest me is i am a pac fan and if i watched pac-diaz, i am surely watching this one on the cinemas.

Funny analysis. You make an interesting point.

That said, I'm ready for December 6.

Sure DLH is a big favourite but its still highly interesting to see how Pac tries to come thru DLH (because he aint outboxing him) & if he can take his punches, Pac has taken punches from the top fighters in his weight but what will happen when DLH lands, thats the big question.

I put a bet on Oscar just to spice my own interests up, lets just say that if there is an upset in this one, some family members of mine are gona have one **** christmas.... Oscar better **** Pac up, no bull****, straight to business & eat him up like Pacman.

I hope Pacman prevails by doing a Mayweatheresque "hit and run" for the whole 12 rounds. I've got mixed feelings on "goldenboy" at the moment.

In one way he is a bully because he is boxing a smaller man. In contrast to this, he is coming down in weight which makes things a little fairer. But I still think he should fight a Winky or Margarito

Winky would be a bore-fest, and I doubt Oscar wants to fight at 160.

Margarito is the man at welterweight, and therefore should be fighting the likes of Cotto, Williams, Berto etc.

Oscar is just looking for the biggest fights in terms of 'name' these days, and good on him.

I'm just interested because I'm interested in nearly all big fights. I'm not that hyped for it, but I'm still somewhat looking forward to it.

Still, the big fights in the fall of this year are miles behind the great matchups last year. We had Taylor-Pavlik 1, Cotto-Mosley, Mayweather-Hatton. This year we had Calzaghe-Jones and Pacquiao-De La Hoya.

I'm already getting nostalgic to the bygone era of 2007.

    i agree with you completely.

as 'important' as oscar is in making boxing mainstream for one night at least he also cheapens the sport by doing this.

unfortunately the real boxing fans are in the minority and he's appelaing to a bigger audience.
