I think Mormeck will actually win this fight by KO in rd 8 or 9. Haye seems to being looking past this fight and forward to his shot at a heavyweight title. A bib mistake IMO

Well, David Haye has everything over Mormeck except maybe chin.
I think David wins in comfortable fashion, and I do think he would make a good heavyweight... ofcourse Mormeck is the hardest competition he's fought, I definitely don't think he's underrating the champion of the world, no way.

Haye by surprising knockout between the fourth and seventh round.. well that's what I think.

Mormeck's a tough guy, I've only seen Haye destroyed Bonin so I can't say much about the "Hayemaker". I hear he is exciting though so I expect Mormeck-Haye to be fireworks WHILE IT LASTS.

Of course Mormeck has a chance and more than a "chance". He is the Ring champ for a reason and has only ever been stopped once.
Haye may be weight drained and the weight lost will have been muscle and we saw what that did to RJJ coming back down from heavy.

Haye also has a dodgy chin and poor stamina. But I think Haye wins due to his speed and accuracy. When you have that over your opponent and with it you have great power it is a big advantage. But he needs to be focused.

It should be a barnburner. I like Haye in this fight, but this fight takes on the feel of "anything can really happen." Can Mormeck win? Yes. Would I be surprised? Nope

If he gets a shot in on Haye's shaky chin, it could be all over - so yeah, Mormeck's got a pretty darn good chance.

of course he has a chance, the dude can punch. .. his biggest problem seems to be low gas tank.

Mormeck has much more than a chance. Haye's best chance would be to outlast Mormeck and take the late rounds, but Haye seems to have his own stamina issues. Mormeck at full strength >>> Haye at full strength, unless Mormeck suddenly starts looking his age. So, yeah, I'd give him about a 75% chance of winning.

Haye will struggle to make weight, his stamina will be affected. If he cant knock him out he wont win in france. but he will knock him out

I cant wait for this fight, it has fight of the year written all over it.

David Haye is a superb boxer, but he's not a cruiserweight anymore. If he walks around weighing 230lbs+ then OBVIOUSLY he's not gonna be at his best weighing 200lbs.

If the weight loss doesnt affect him too badly he's got a good chance. Mormeck is a good fighter, but I dont think he's got enough to beat Haye. Mormeck is strong in bursts, but he hasn't got the sort of stamina necessery to wear down Haye. When he was forcing the fight against Bell he looked great, but he gassed pretty badly in the later rounds. Haye's weakness is his stamina, and I dont think Mormeck is gonna be able to capitalize on that weakness. He likes to brawl, and so does Haye, and so it will be brutal.

I also think that Mormeck isn't big enough for Haye. Mormeck fought most of his career at ligtht-heavy and 190lbs, he's a solid cruiserweight but he's not massive. He's 5ft10 or so and is pretty strong for his size, but Haye is 6ft3 and absolutely massive for a cruiserweight. He will be the much stronger man in there. If it goes to a brawl, which it will, I pick the younger, stronger, harder hitting bigger guy, which in this case is Haye.

haye by KO within 6 rounds.

haye will move up to hw win or lose. with the amount of training he'll have to do just to make the weight, i think his mind will be on the job.

i hope haye wins but mormeck has every chance. 50-50 fight imo.

Mormecks gonna come get it early. He'll go hunting early but Haye is going to box him and Haye is going to find the spot with his right hand and then its good night Paris.
