Thats a good point, and it does make me think. My point is that these kinds of things happen all the time, that doesnt make it right, but it is the nature of the sport. Some guys get rewarded when its not deserved and some dont when it is deserved. We pay into it and continue to support this sport, even knowing that its crooked. We as fans have done very little to help make the spot better although we essentially fund boxing by watching it, going to events, and buying ppvs. We all watch Margarito make some huge paychecks knowing that he was a cheat. My point is that, this happened because we allowed it to happen o some level, by not doing anything about it before. Boxing hasnt just become corrupt.

He deserves it every bit as much as Manny deserved to carry it into the ring that night.

I was rooting for Bradley and I had put money down on him to win. However, I am a fan of the sport before I am a fighter, Pac won that fight and I can't be happy for someone who has an undeserved victory.

It’s hard to feel happy for a guy that is coming under the sort of fire he is.
Tim “Desert ****-Storm” Bradley may think he’s up to taking on the majority viewpoint (and he just might be) but being the subject of this type of universal media-negativity, usually leaves its mark, even after the dust has settled.

    Exactly.

Bradley is currently receiving death threats, people keep ringing Diaz's phone and complaining, sports writers and the media are saying that he essentially stole the belt, and Bradley is having to soak all this up.

Joel Diaz said this about Bradley:

'“I talked to him yesterday. He told me, ‘You want to know how I feel? I feel depressed. I feel mad about it. I totally lost the love for the sport. We're being attacked like it's our fault.'”'

    (Source.)

The fuss will definitely die down over time. That's just what happens -- people will get over it and move on. Boxing fans aren't going to forget that it was a robbery, though -- when his name is discussed, years from now, it still won't be forgotten. The only way Bradley can get away from all this is if he really delivers in the rematch and washes away all thought of the first match. If that doesn't happen, his career will always have this black mark hanging over it.

Around 50% of fans give it to Manny or JMM on their last bout.
99% of the world Saturday Night gave the win to Manny.

    I'll take Pac's 50% over Bradley's 1% any day.

the whole thing is bitter sweet. as one of the leaders of the money team bandwagon i really only wanted pac to lose to floyd. i would rather have tim put a nice whooping on pac and then he gets robbed, rather then pac beat him and get robbed. i just thought **** like that would never happen to floyd and pacman.pacman needs to leave bob asa****ingp !

pac does need to leave arum. he is bigger than arum and can make loads more money without him. without arum, we'd be on pac-mayweather II 'The Thrilla in Manilla II'

What a load of garbage. If he wants a break he needs to earn it, he barely won one round on my card and I doubt anyone half sane would disagree.

Can't feel happy for a man who got gifted in disgusting fashion.

I'm happy that he made a good showing of himself after the majority of people were picking emmanuel by stoppage.

Timmeh goes out and won 4-5 rounds, including all the final 3.

Yeah. I mean, I had him losing close but quite clear on my scorecard...but I agree with pretty much every sentiment here:
