I find it hard differentiating my fave fighter with the best fighter in his division.

For example, my fave fighters are haye, khan, froch, valero, pascal.

And i fully believe they are the best fighters in their divisions. I mean logic dictates that dawson or b-hop are better than pascal, but i just think his heart see's him through it.

take froch, i think abraham would be an awful style for him, but H2H with every SMW, i put Froch at the top of the class.

My fave All Time fighter is Hamed, and I am convinced that 95-98 he was unstoppable and would KO any featherweight in history. whether he would score a ko over the likes of morrales and JMM is another matter, but i like to let my heart rule my head

Does anyone else have these same delusions?

That their favourite fighter is the best fighter?

Hey no argument here...Hamed was one hell of a Featherweight although JMM could hang with him at that weight.

love cotto (dont think hes the best but hes still a major player at ww i feel)

De la hoya (I still feel he could come back and beat most of the 154 lb guys (not sergio though)He could still be a champ

I know this is not exactly what ur lookin for but most people feel cooto is shot and dlh is over the hill

maybe there right , But these are my fav fighters and rationality goes out the door
    :thumbsup

Yes I absolutely agree. I'm a big Jerry Quarry fan so maybe that bias plays on my analysis of his abilities and his chances in some classic matchups. Totally agree.:good

ye bias just rules over logic.

like if khan stepped in the ring with tim bradley, the obvious answer would be khan gets knocked out, but my heart tells me khan stops bradley inside 5 one-sided rounds

munroe, maklin, rhodes. i expect6 each of them to win world titles no matter who they face

I think everyone does, thats why you never gamble when a fight involves your fav fighter, you love for that fighter somewhat blinds you.

Yeah, I want John Ruiz to do good and everytime he get bashed on ESB, I'm not surprised 'cause he's a hard guy to like...
(Haye: I spoke to many Puerto Ricans about "Their Man", but even they tried to pass him off as an American. No one wants to claim him)

Out of thirty ring experts, only Manny Steward gives him a chance upsetting Haye, and I know that the cances are very slim but nothing's over 'till it's over!!
(Steward:I was talking to Wladimir and he can't see any way Ruiz can win, but I give him a good chance. Wladimir said: "You must be kidding," but the last two fights [of Ruiz] I saw he looks like he's fighting better, not punching and clutching, and I have doubts about David's chin still. Aside from the David Tua KO 156 years ago and [when] Roy Jones outclassed him, no one's completely dominated him and he's got a pretty good chin. Even though he's older and hasn't fought that much [recently] I give Ruiz a good chance in this fight -not a fairly good shot, but a good shot)

Hearing Manny makes me wanna believe he will do it and keep my fingers crossed:cool:
