Anyone else here think Mosley can pull it off this Saturday?

Well Mosley is shot and past his prime, but Cano did get stopped by a shot/past prime Morales, and Mosley did go 12 with Canelo and Pacquiao when it was thought he would get stopped. Then with the Morales thing, that's a bit tricky, because he did look pretty good against Maidana and Garcia for some odd reason.

I think Mosley knocks him out, but I wouldn't say he'd be back in the mix. Maybe he'd get used as an opponent for fighters like Broner, Alexander, Lopez-Maidana winner, Berto, if he beats Cano.

 

people seem to forget how good shane was ... shot to **** as he is , i think hell margarito cano on saturday , any come forward fighter with a lack of regard for defense (margs , vargas, diaz ,ruiz) mosley normally beats these , morales was a super feather , and he kod him , mosley is alot bigger naturally than erik , so im hoping he pulls off 1 more ko n rides into the sunset ... im doubtful though lol

It isn't a very big card, so yeah, probably not much. (although he is almost certainly raking in more than most any Fox Deportes headliner to date, because of his name)

 

perhaps he can win, but I say he cano.

 

I love Shane.

I even accepted a chance of upset happening against Pac.

Anyways, why is he still fighting? Did Jin took so much of his saving?

He should hang it up period.

I won't be surprised if he loses this. Cano gave Paulie a run for his money. And Shane is already way past it.

Cano has the worst skin I've ever seen. Henry Cooper level ****.

Mosley still has a decent little jab, that he tagged Canelo with fairly frequently.

There's zero chance Cano's face isn't torn to shreds in this fight, win or lose. Take into account the fact that he's not difficult to hit, and this is a fight I only favor Cano about 55/45.

 

Cano is a decent, young fighter with alot of heart. If he's learned and improved since his losses and with a former world beater like Mosley close to being completely done the match might be evenly matched. Cano wouldn't last 4 rounds with a prime Mosley, but those times are gone. I pick Mosley by SD. Even his power, which is last to go, is gone.
