Whatever you think about King he gets deals made. We are more likely to see Pacquiao vs Mayweather if its a toprank/king show and there no goldenboy involvement plus we will get a badass undercard.

I don't get it. Top Rank was happy to go with the same contract as before but this time he will abide by Floyds 14 day rule. So why does Floyd need King? Plus he has GBP and his own promotion! What has changed? Both Pac and Floyd are still on top, coming off of wins. Floyds win is much better than Pacs but it doesn't change enough to not just sign the contract. We need to deal with the fact that Floyds camp says there were no negotiations but everyone else says there was. Makes you wonder if he wants to fight.

Makes sense to me. As long as Don don't take him down a Tyson route fighting bums but I can't imagine that happening.

Don will make Floyd v Pac happen then send him FMJ up to LMW/MW imo.

I stated on another thread on the general

    why does Floyd need King?

I thought Floyd was the face of boxing and boxing would be lost without him?

he surely can make any fight happen because he is all about the money & PPV buys?

then again this could be a move to **** Arum right off!!

not necessarily true. Obv there will be no GBP fighters on the bill at all if Floyd makes a deal with King and king doesent have a great deal of names at the moment signed. top rank obv have a great number though.
i know king has delivered many great stacked cards in the past but not for years now.
if juanma vs gamboa(both top rank?) could be made on the PBF-Pacman card then thats something :good

Mayweather is beyond needing to sign and be under the control of a single promoter.

I do just because you sure as hell know that Don will produce a stellar undercard that would make the GBP show on Saturday look like Dog ****.

    Devon Alexander
    Tavoris Cloud
    Elio Rojas
    Cory Spink
    Luis Collazo

Those are some of the names you would likely see if Don got to put on a big PPV, now that is what I call a PPV show.

Floyd doesn't want or need the fight. It won't happen.

Don King is bad news, period.

He was holding up the HW unification, and now the Valuev vs. Vitali fight.

He royally shafted Tyson, and I'm sure if we had all the dirty details, probably most of the fighters he's worked with.

Not a good idea for Floyd.

As for the Pac vs. Mouth fight, who cares? I'm over it.

Call me crazy, but i actually think that would've been a interesting fight when it was talked about a few years ago.

Yes, which is why Floyd will take it now.
