He outboxed him in the 3rd fight, and knocked him out in the last fight. What does he have to prove? Knock him out in two rounds?
How you figure that I've never heard anybody say they felt Pacquiao won the first two fights until Marquez kicked his ass in the third fight, then it switched to Pacquiao won the first two. Just because the fights were competitive doesn't mean Pac didn't get his ass kicked and before fight three 8/10 felt Marquez won. Miguel Cotto broke half of Pac's face in there fight doesn't mean he didn't get beaten down. You knock someone down three times in a fight and the best you can manage is a draw with people still feeling you lost that means you got your ass kicked And the reason he keeps getting his ass kicked is because you simps keep telling him he won easy and that Marquez isn't on your level instead of tell him hey you got your ass whopped step it up.
What in the world are you talking about? The first 2 fights were close by everyones standards except the Marquez fanboys and *****s.
Yep, I'm sure JMM wants to turn down the likely $10 million that comes with a 5th Pac fight. Who else is there in the TR stable? A Bradley rematch, Rios, Provodnikov (no way JMM wants him).
If you knock someone down three times in a fight and the best you can hope for is a draw with people still feeling you lost that means you got your ass kicked, when your win is voted robbery of the year that means you really got your ass kicked, when you get KO'd cold for 5 mins you got your ass kicked. Thats 3/4 fights so your only argument is fight two all other signs point towards Marquez whopping Pac atleast 3/4 times. You don't have to be a Marquez or May fan to see that. Just for context a guy like Ortiz gets bashed for knocking Peterson down once and ending up with a draw, and your trying to argue Pacquiao knocking down Marquez three times in one round and getting a draw GTFOH.
I see your point of view, but the first 2 fights were razor thin with no domination. Many felt pac won and others felt jmm won. The 3rd fight was a obvious gift to pac. Jmm should of been wbo ww champ that night. I wont argue with some one who feels pac won, but this with out the fanboy nut huggery was the clearest win out of the 3 fights in favor of jmm. The 4th ended the war. Jmm earned the rematches and its not like pac ever had a clear win over jmm. 2 of my favorites but jmm won the rivalry. Just like pac said after the 2nd fight "buisness is done"
They should both retire. If JMM wants that belt, he should just fight Porter. Pac should go down to 140 and fight Garcia.
Marquez wants the title of the winner of the Pac/Bradley fight and he has the right to fight for it. It's his life and that title is what he wants..............
there's fights i'd much rather see but they're all with gbp fighters. given the circumstances i'd love to see these two go at it again, they have a great rivalry
