Boxing is about excitement and drama. In a Malignaggi fight you no there is going to be non of either. Khan brings both with a fast, aggressive style and inherent vulnerability. With Khan there is a good chance of a knockout, either him or the other guy. Paulie will never knock anyone out and the tough ******* takes a lot to stop. Khan will make better fights in the future than will Paulie against the top light welters.

I'll be rooting for Paulie. I think with Sherif Younan in his corner, he will have a good game plan and use his feet. When he was with Buddy McGirt, Buddy wanted him to stand in the pocket too much. That ain't Paulie's game, as he lacks the power to really make his opponent respect it.

He needs to move in and out, and use those feet to give him angles the whole fight. Paulie has one of the best jabs in boxing, and although it's not a hard punch, he snaps it out and does a good job at disrupting his opponents rythym. He did it well against Juan Diaz both times (althought Khan is better than Diaz, IMO) and even hurt him in the 5th round of their second fight with a nice right uppercut.

According to Bodog, Amir is at -450 and Paulie is +300 (the same as the Mayweather-Mosley line, with May the favorite), so the bookies like Khan.

I think Paulie is a much more live opponent than some think, and I think he will give Amir everything he wants. I've been a fan of Paulie's for several years now, more for his slick style, boxing IQ, and heart than anything else.

    Go Malignaggi!!!

I am. I've been a Paulie M. fan ever since he showed toughness and heart in his loss against Cotto. I hope he beats Khan.

Khan will not have an easy time with Malignaggi.

Feather fisted or not,the man can box.Paulie has been in with some of the toughest fighters out there.140lb undefeated Cotto is one of them, who was a beast at 140lbs.

Look for Paulie to box Khans ears off.:bbb

    Agree...

McGirt was no good for Paulie.Having him fight on the inside. It goes against everything that Paulie is about.Movement.

With Sherif,we will see Paulie doing what he does best...To box Khans ears off.

I'm on board the Magic Man Express.....Khan is favored for a reason....but keep in mind Paulie was a +450 or more I think, in the first Diaz fight....

I expect a close fight going either way......

I like Paulie, but Khan is all wrong for him. Khan isn't going to go at him face first with his hands down like Diaz did. He's going to stay on the outside and pick his shots. Hatton tagged Malignaggi at will from the 2nd round onwards in their bout. Khan has faster hands, better reach, better accuracy and comparable footspeed to Hatton. I think some of you Malignaggi fans are going to be shocked at one sided this fight is going to be.

Paulie is a freaking warrior who will fight anyone. He may not be an elite fighter, but so ****ing what, he leaves everything he has in the ring, and we can't ask more than that from boxers.

I lost all respect for Malignaggi when he went on his little crusade after they guy who he thought was going to lose to Cotto pummeled Cotto just as bad as Paulie himself got pummeled by Cotto.

I hope Khan knocks Malignaggi's face through the back of his head.

    :good

I want Paulie to give Khan a beatdown. I want Khan to do a chicken dance ala Prescott fight (from a grazing left hook). Hopefully a Paulie uppercut gets him dancing and Paulie KTFO. I'll always be a Magic Man fan.

If Paulie does KO Khan it will be one of the funniest things for this site in awhile.
