Provo did what I expected. Hes a strong punching,iron chinned guy, with endless stamina, and he went in and gave it everything as expected. What impressed me most was how Lucas looked when he stuck to his boxing. His footwork and jab were really on key.
Definitely impressed but always knew that Matthysse has the ability. Just didn't expect him to be able to successfully apply it and handle Provodnikov's power. His punch resistance and stamina impressed me.
No because that's what I fully expected and predicted he'd do. And its not all that hard to outbox Provo.
I had a feeling lucas would box ruslan and i really think he felt his power and decided against going for a complete war like he did against molina if he did that he would of been stopped.
lucas really was never down from a big shot and was never really hurt by any of the knockdowns he suffered in the past fights. His chin was always good
Lucas is one of the most entertaining fighters active in boxing. His every fight is just as fun. I'm a big fan of his for years. Always in my top 5.
A little. He arguably did better as Bradley and Algieri, who both actually lost imo. Of course having such power clearly helps when you're boxing.
