I was hoping these two would meet during the super 6 but it never happened, if it did it could've been the fight of tournament, both men like to come forward and hit hard.

Hopefully after Abraham beats boudia maybe a fight with Kessler can happen.

    Anyone else like this fight?

Hmm... I think that Abraham has a chance in this one.

Kessler looked pretty much shot to me against Green.

I'd favour Kessler on points but he appears awfully easy to hit these days.

At a certain level he can go on a while longer, and look impressive, but I think cutting to 168 for so long and the periods of inactivity have curtailed his stay at the top of the division.

I'd have liked him to have gone straight up to 175 after the loss to Calzaghe, personally.

Kessler is definitely shot, I've thought so for a while. Disregarding the Bouadla fight when he was basically just hitting a punchbag, I haven't been impressed by a performance of his since the Super 6 started. He turned it round well vs Froch with his bodywork but that was more of a gutsy performance rather than a real quality one.

You know what you're going to get with Abraham too. He's a threat but an overrated one IMO, especially at supermiddleweight his power is good but nothing more. Both men have seen better days without doubt but it could be fun so yeah I wouldn't mind it.

Though I'd also like Froch to get his rematch with Kessler because I had him edging the first fight 115-113.

Kessler-Abraham would be a good one. And it´s not impossible either. Maybe Kessler is interested after he beats Magee? A WBO/WBA unification would be great before he ends his career by beating Froch (hopefully...) and add the IBF strap as well.

Yes, that was one of the missing ones in the Super 6...

They're both past it, but it would be a fun matchup I guess.

I don't know, I would prefer AA vs Kessler over the opponents they are facing now, but It will be as one-sided as Froch - AA.

I would rather see AA - Pavlik and Kessler - Thomas Oosthuizen.

Id watch it but it isn't one I would be too bothered about. Think it would play out similar to the Abraham v Froch fight for the most part only possible difference I can see is Abraham getting stopped late on. So far at top level in the higher weight class Abraham has been totally ineffective and I can't see that changing against Kessler.
