The HW division has been pretty **** the last few years. Ever since Lennox retired in fact. Anyone else miss him? [YT]b3JSLsSCN7U[/YT] Question; head-2-head where do you think Lennox stands? Who has a chance of beating him in his prime? Louis? Ali? Answers appreciated:good
Are you joking? I think it's a resounding YES. Post this on the general and see how the reaction differs!
He is within the top 10 Heavyweights of all time in my opinion. I miss him; him, naz and Tyson were the fighters I watched when I was a kid, although I did support Tyson in their fight - at the time he was my fave fighter (still is one of my favourites), but I will never forget watching the two Rahman fights (and the fight in the studio :yep) and the Vitali fight - fights I watched when I was growing up. Also the double against Holyfield - I remember my brother watching the first fight a dozen times after being outraged by the decision, he even got me to do a scorecard, I was like 8 year old
I remember how opinion swung on the outcome of the 2nd fight because Rahman got the better of LL in the studio "fight"..........put Lennox through a desk WWF style if I remember correctly:rofl
I just had a go at some twat on there who claims (I don't know how the Yanks even make this **** up) that Haye's fans have never seen him fight. What a ****.
Yeah. Prime Tyson would be better though, because Lewis wasn't always full of excitement. Tyson would make things lively even in this division. I think his biggest challenges would be Mike Tyson and Larry Holmes. Liston, Louis and Foreman would also be considerable adversaries.
I used him earlier on FNR4. As soon as i took 4-5 swashbuckling slaps to the mush i decided what an utter display of non Lennox i was. James Toney was my opponent and James Toney sparked me. I didnt take the rematch, i sat maself down and had a long think.
