    Not even a ****ing little.

Wlad fought no vols and the ranking system was at its absolute most horrid when Wlad was champion. Guys went from mid rank to number one contender overnight then dropped right away after he beat them.

    2012 Ranking:

    Wladimir Klitschko
    Vitali Klitschko

    Alexander Povetkin
    David Haye
    Kubrat Pulev
    Tomasz Adamek
    Robert Helenius
    Denis Boytsov
    Ruslan Chagaev
    Chris Arreola
    Tyson Fury

    Wlad's 2012 defenses:

    Mormeck
    Thompson
    Wach

What in the ****? I'll tell you what in the ****. Wlad wanted easy fights so he got no hopers man mando overnight, simple as. We'd see guys jump from like 9th to number one contender without fighting anyone and as soon as Wlad beat them they were done in the ranking. Might get one or two more top ten fights and then out they go. Might have spent an entire month in the top tens prior to Wlad "defending" against them.

    Wlad was a **** show and a *****.

I bet we'll never see another heavyweight champion with a Ph.D.

No, the heavyweight picture is far better with him out of it. He redeemed himself somewhat in his last hurrah v Joshua, but let's face it the majority of his career was dull as dishwater. It was nice to see some decent heavyweight scraps at the weekend. A million miles from the jab and grab fests he subjected us to.

well,, if he was still in his prime and with Sdunek. However, the parity in the heavyweight division does have its appeal. Now if they just make the interesting fights happen.

I miss Vitali, but nope don't miss Wlad.

Fact is the KBros were too good for the rest of the division, they just utterly dominated and made it boring and Wlad once he hooked up with Steward became a very boring fighter.

Division now may have nobody as good as the KBros but it's far more competitive and entertaining because of it.

Well said. There were aspects of his reign I didn't like and some pretty boring fights, but there was also much to admire. His time had come though and the division is far more entertaining in the post Wlad era.

not miss, he wasnt h2h a force, but its fascinating to see how 2 brothers of limited abiity but excellent longevity could be managed well enough to defend some of the titles some of the time. An interesting experiment in man management, if somewhat demeaning to hw history on the whole.
