When he landed that first right hand and I saw Sergio wobble I knew it was coming. My wife, and mother in law screamed their hearts out. When Sergio went down it was that Corrales-Castillo feeling. I felt young again and was jumping going nuts.

It was spectacular. That moment was worth the PPV.

Same at my house, my friends aren't even big boxing fans... we were all up and screaming in the final round. Amazing stuff.

I haven't seen a single round live that had me that excited since Berto vs. Ortiz Round 6 (and this was even more dramatic)... a rematch is warranted and it's rare you'll see a dominant victory like that and want to pay to see a rematch. The issue was, that I saw, Chavez wasn't seeing his punches have any effect the times he landed. That 12th round for Chavez will do wonders for him in the rematch, Martinez, however is a TRUE champion, who you do not really appreciate unless they face adversity, and he did, as much as he's ever faced. Good stuff, and they have my money next time.

I was shocked. That was a thrilling last round.

Only in boxing can a man lose every frame then win in one moment. It nearly happened.

I bolted out of the lounge room, thought that Martinez got KO'd in the 12th.
Came back and Martinez has all the belts and was smiling.

It was the most nervous that i've ever been while watching a sports event... and i didn't even have money riding on it.
I just sat there with my mouth wide open, while shaking my head.

The fight was a complete ****ing schooling for 11.5 rounds, followed by half a round of Jr coming so ****ing close to finishing Sergio.
Yes, Sergio was fighting back like a G, a ******ed G, but still a G. It was dumb as ****, but damn... that was one of the most epic final rounds i've ever seen (Especially considering what had gone on in the previous 11).
If Jr could have finished him off, it would have been the most dramatic comeback since Sr vs Meldrick.

I've spent many saturday nights watching boxing until the early hours of the morning in the past couple of years... at times it SO isn't worth it, and then you get nights like this when it's SO ****ing worth it, and more.
It's 7Am here, and it's been an epic night of boxing... unfortunately i'm way too pumped up on adrenaline to fall asleep for the next few hours (sigh).
    I guess it's a double edged sword...

I couldn't stop shaking for 5 min after the first kd, martinez looked lost at the end but still held his ground unbelievable. I got respect for chavez but man martinez never backed down, every time julio threw shots sergio threw em right back that finish was unreal

I was nervous as hell. When Sergio first got dropped, I didn't think he was THAT hurt until I saw that he had no legs. Martinez was on some Morales **** when he didn't clinch.
