Girlfriend was in bed but asked me to not be too noisy (as I am when something like this is on), I was quietly excited and impressed by Martinez's great movement and handling of the 'much' bigger Chavez Jr, but when he got caught halfway through the last round, I couldn't believe it, and I was doing my best to keep quiet, but all I could keep saying was "No, no, oh god, get up, get up!!" And he did, twice, and went straight on the offensive!! What an ending, I was thinking, this guy's got nearly as muchballs as Carl Froch!! Lol.

I had an epileptic attack at how worried i was and how slow the seconds were going by. When i saw that he was a bit recovered i was like "just stick and move or hold and he will be ok" then i se him trading with Jr then i felt like was getting tazed and flopping all over the place.

Yeah man. I was thinking. Omg, Junior is actually going to do it. Sergio has come this far and it's all for nothing

I actually thought the ref may have stopped it there

Then he got up and started slugging it out not holding and I was just looking at the clock thinking oh **** please, haven't been that scared for a fighter in a long time!

we were all watching rooting and knowing that martinez would win easily, then came the ko and we were all jumping up and down because the underdog might actually pull it off and we knew it could be the biggest come from behind victory in the history of boxing!!! the chavez name would be restored to epic greatness! just as i was starting to root for chavez i felt bad for martinez and wanted him to clinch or take a knee, i was scared he would be seriously injured!! it was a mixture of emotions, the last time i felt like that was garcia vs khan when i was happy for the underdog garcia but then khan started coming back and i found myself rooting for khan because of the heart he was showing.
