AJ doesn't have a "clinching skills" of Wladimir Klitschko or Lennox Lewis. Not even remotedly close

Did this “unknown” ref cause any problems in his recent world title bout between Canelo and Kovalev? Or do we have to look through the past decade and dig something up to find an excuse?

AJ's excuse will be that Dustin Nichols concussed him during rough sparring sessions and he never recovered!!

We know Joshua has been talking to his greatest fan, the great feminist activist Wladimir Klitschko. Many phone calls have been exchanged, with Wlad sitting naked in his Austrian steam room having his chest shaved by Vitali. If Wlad has been passing on the secrets of the 'Flying Octopus', a move he perfected against Povektin whereby he could leap two metres to grapple a smaller fighter ... and Joshua has managed to master this technique over the last year ... maybe Ruiz could be in a spot of bother. In all seriousness, it's not out of the question Joshua could have developed a pretty good grapple technique in this period as part of a dedicated game plan, it doesn't have to be as good as Wlad's to make a difference.
