This fight isn't exciting to me, at all.

You have one guy who is semi-retired, has repeatadly said he doesn't fight for his legacy and is only in it for the money, against another who has been fighting mainly at catchweights or against older, weight drained guys forced to come down below weights theyre not comfortable at.

What would even be on the line?

    The new 145lb title?

    The p4p best semi-retired weight-hopping money-making title?

    The Catchweight Championship?

Niether fighter is campaigning at a weightclass, Pac pretty much only wants catchweight fights (Roach has called for a catchweight, and of course if he wanted to Pac would just tell him to shut up); mayweather in fighting marquez proved what everyone knew; a good big good beats a good little guy.

    BOYCOTT this BS $100 PPV!

I would like PAC-Mosley first for the true WW champion
in the meantime Floyd should earn his shot and fight some eliminator
    ... Margarito maybe?

    No. I'll boycott you.
These are the two of the best fighters of our era, and we will watch this fight no matter what.
As someone else said, go watch UFC.

Pac can be argued as the best WW right now since cotto beat mosely and clottey and mosely beat AM. Floyd was the man at 147, and 154 but didn't fight that many WWs but got to Hatton and Oscar first. Two considered the best p4p so it would be a good match up.

Two of this generations finest pugilists coming head to head in an intrigueing clash of styles is hardly a 'joke fight' is it.

There's no bigger match up in the sport of boxing today. Wont be for years either.

    What would you rather see?

So if they officially made the WW limit 145 that be fine? 145, 147...its just a number. A fighter can be weight drained at 147 and still be a WW, his natural fight weight maybe 149, a fighter maybe perfect at 144 despite being in the WW division.

Besides, this fight wont happen at 145. Roach only wants 145 to get leverage on negotiations.

    Haye 'vs' Wlad

No catchweights, no p4p nonsense or semi-retired fighters who change divisions every fight.

I'm interested in boxing more than most. Why else would I join a boxing site?
