Anytime Money fights its a work of art. A masterpiece! Enjoy it while he's still boxing and gracing us with his presence. Once he's gone, I guarantee the sport of boxing will never be the same nor will it have the same swagger that Money and his personable charisma brings!

I agree... if Pac vs Mayweather follows this... it would be ****ing awesome. Definitely two dangerous opponents to set up a mega fight with. I also agree that with Pac out of the picture (and obviously Mayweather wanting nothing to do with Paul Williams)... that this was the biggest fight out there for him. I am definitely NOT saying that this is a handpicked fight, or that Mayweather doesn't deserve any credit if he beats him or anything. I just don't have high expectations as for what the actual fight will be like. That obviously says a shitload about Mayweather though. Obviously I feel that he is just too talented for Mosley at this point of his career. I don't think that Mosley can set the sort of traps necessary in order to force Floyd into bad positions.

I completely agree with what is highlighted in blue. I have never once in my life said anything different than that. He is definitely a master boxer.

I disagree with what you typed in red. I really don't think that the sport suffers as greatly as you make out when he retires. One star burns out, others are born.

Why the hell wouldn't I be?

Shane can be more competitive with Floyd than Pacquiao can.

Well said. I agree with most of what you had to say, especially that people are overrating what Shane did against Margarito. I mean, some of those shots Mosley hit Marg with were ridiculous. Stevie Wonder could have dodged some of those shots, but that neither here nor there...

I'm actually excited about the fight, mainly because Floyd is finally fighting someone I want to see him fight. This might turn out a lot more interesting than people think...

I like this fight. It's the most interesting fight to see Mayweather in after the Pacquiao fight. If Mosley gets completely outclassed, he's still a guy I like getting the payday of his life. If Mosley wins, and it's a clean win without a robbery, it'll be a guy I like pushing his legacy to a new level by beating a guy I don't like. I can't lose in this one, almost.

Definitely disagree with that. Pac's movement, and angles would WITHOUT A DOUBT cause much more trouble for Floyd than Mosley. I wouldn't be surprised if Floyd survived the entire fight against Mosley without eating a single completely flush power punch. I would be flat out amazed if he was able to do that against Pac. Let alone Pac's blistering speed, and power in everything that he throws. His southpaw stance is also a huge advantage against Floyd... as Floyd's own dad has always said that Floyd struggles with southpaws.

That's the way I see it also. Even if he loses it won't be a huge knock against his legacy considering his age and inactivity.

I think it is a great matchup also. I am very interested in this fight. If Mayweather does fight Shane and even losses, I will give him more credit than if he did not fight him. Better to fight the best and lose than to duck everyone like Floyd has been doing.

Just as you say that Margo was taylormade for Shane, so too is Pac for Floyd. Best example I can give is Pac vs JMM. Pac dont fight on angles he is a jump in throw shots jump out. that is made for what Floyd does best, that is use timing and counter-punching to land shots off his back foot. I think that Floyd would murder Pac with counters and stop him late in the fight. Shane on the other hand can skillfully walk Floyd down. Tie him up and make it an ugly in-fight. I Like Shanes chances in this fight, I think that Shane can beat Floyd, without landing a sunday shot that it would have took Pac landing to honestly have a shot at winning.

PS nice try and sliding in the backdoor with yet another one of you I hate Floyd posts:yep

I hate Floyd because I think that he is too good for Mosley to beat right now?:huh:lol: I guess that really is some "sliding in the backdoor" **** because I still don't see it. I already clearly said that it is the best possible fight out there for Floyd right now with Pac off the table and obviously Paul Williams not in the running.

So... obviously the best possible fight that Floyd could take at the moment... against a very tough fighter... and I am hating on Floyd because I don't think that Shane will be able to beat him?:patsch Yeah... I think you need to get your head out of your ass.:good

Hell, it's a credit to Floyd's skills that I am saying this.
