only if its at 154. Pac's aura of invincibility has faded, let's see him face Cotto at a legit weight for a legit world championship.
I read what you posted. But to say there is no coming back from the Floyd lost is far from true. He wasnt beaten down nor broken. He took severe beatings from both Margo and Pac and has bounced back nicely. No reason he shouldnt from a decision lost to Floyd. If anything he should bounce back better cause he put on a very good display against Floyd.
Who cares about Pac vs Bradley 2? Pac prolly only has a handful of fights left. He shouldn't waste it on a bradley rematch when he should have won the first pretty obviously. I don't think Marquez IV will have any more of a definite conclusion than the first three. This fight should be allowed to go 15 rounds so we could get a definite winner lol. To look good, pac needs someone who will walk straight foward and try to fight him man to man. That is was Pac is made for. Pac should fight Canelo in November at 154. Canelo is young, crude, and just likes to fight. Pac should kill him in an exciting fight. I think this would build interest back in Pac vs Mayweather, as it would make Pacquaio look like a killer, and look like he can be effective at 154. In the mean time, Floyd can rematch Cotto at 154 and look great again, and make it something of a toe to toe fight like last time. This will set up Pac vs May at 154 with people expecting at war. Then Floyd can outbox and school him like he probably always would have and we can all move on with our lives.
The same reason he rejected the Pac rematch last year. Cotto doesn't want to weight drain himself like last time. And since he's his own man now. Arum can't make him. Aside from Mayweather and Alvarez you mean. I wouldn't hold my breath on this fight happeniing. Freddie Roach is scared shitless of moving Manny up in weight for a fight. Unless a catchweight is involved.
Hasn't he moved up enough? Back when he was fighting Barrera at 126, if I told you that later on people would be calling Pacquaio scared because he won't move up to 154 to fight Cotto, you would have called me crazy.
Yet he attempted to to secure a 151lb catch-weight bout against Margarito 2 fights ago. For the record, I've got no interest in this fight. And if it means Pac demanding a 150lb CW for this fight not getting made then "Catch-weights FTW!"
If his handlers are talking about fighting a guy who fights at 154. Then he should move up in weight. Its as simple as that. If they don't want to. Then there are plenty of fighters at 147 or 140. Get your eyes checked. I said Freddie Roach is scared shitless not Pacquiao . This whole catchweight bull**** has always been Roach's thing.
Cotto said in a couple interviews that the weight wasn't an issue. If he thought it was going to be, then he should have declined the fight. There were plenty of other fighters at 147 he could have fought.
i don't want to see jmm school pac again. i don't want to see timmeh beat pac more decisively this time. pac loses to cotto at 150 or above. pac can't beat floyd and i lost all interest in that fight after he got schooled by jmm again. really....cotto would be the most entertaining bout of the bunch...but again...at 150 or above...pac loses.
No I'm a ******* PAC is small Floyd is big Cotto is better at 150 at this moment in time because he is a natural welterweight He is ineffective at 154 PAC shouldn't fight at 154, like I said he is small If a fighter signs for a fight at a certain weight it cannot affect their performance in the slightest as they signed for it If cotto agrees this is a great fight Floyd nearly lost to cotto, cotto only needed one more round to win, *****s say that this is because cotto has a good trainer now so why shouldnt PAC beat him up Again?
Cotto also said before fighting Mayweather he wouldn't drain himself for Pacquiao again... But I do agree, he shouldn't have accepted the fight if he thought it was going to be an issue.. *We also could get into speculation about what Arum would do with Cotto's career if Cotto refused to fight his cash cow for the title at a catch-weight... Or Cotto thinking he could make the weight without issue then it being an issue, and he not wanting to do that again... Or him just making **** up after the loss as an excuse why he lost... So yeah, best to say he shouldn't have accepted the fight.*
:rofl:rofl this is my favorite "If a fighter signs for a fight at a certain weight it cannot affect their performance in the slightest as they signed for it"
But why would he agree????????!!!! If he agree he is obviously fine, money don't mean **** ***** atsch
